How we use your email address

Who we are. digitalproductpassport.ie is operated by Simvirtua, Ireland. Contact hello@digitalproductpassport.ie.

What we collect. Your email address, the date and time you signed up, and your consent to receive the briefing. We do not collect anything else through the sign-up form.

Why, and on what basis. To send you the monthly Irish Digital Product Passport briefing and occasional launch updates. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us.

Who processes it. Sign-ups are stored and sent through Buttondown, our newsletter provider, and pass through Vercel, our hosting provider. Both act as processors under contract. We do not sell or share your address with anyone else.

How long we keep it. Until you unsubscribe, after which it is removed from the active list within 30 days.

Your rights. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie). Email us and we will respond within one month.
